So as some of you know, I just started a new job in the exciting field of auto sales. Part of that process is training. And I finished my fourth day of it today. The problem is that its mostly about the processes I already know (everything before desking a deal).

I instead need to be taking my brand certifications, learning the paperwork processes, and the CRM tool that we use. I did not originally protest the training because it was only 3 days. However, it was then extended to 6 days, and now a full 8. Worse yet, it's very obvious that I'm being held to the least Common Denominator level that some of my other classmates are living up to.

My managers have all been filled in on the situation, but I'm not sure it will yield any results as this is our "corporate process". I've offered to do anything to prove I'm ready, and offered to go through all the material, just at the pace that I'm capable of and the level I'm already at. We'll see if anything comes of it...

Let me tell you something about training. Everywhere you go for a job, they're going to have some boring dumbass training that you have no particular desire to sit through. Just sit through it and wait your turn. It does you no good right when you start a job to try and go through the training faster than the other new people. It makes you look line you think you're special or something. You just got hired. Now is not the time to try and get them to accommodate you.
